Budding Competition! Classes for my 8 month old :(
I have been primarily writing about Arunav here - I think it's about time Aarushi gets some space too....
Yesterday I took Aarushi(now 8 months) down to our building playarea and met a grandma with her grand daughter (7 months old). The dear grandma was surprised to see Aarushi crawl and quickly put her grand daughter down prompting her to do the same much to the protest of the poor 7 month old. When Aarushi stood up holding onto a chair - she was almost in tears. She quickly brought her grand daughter to check who is taller (she actually made them stand side by side and measured!!) - she was happy that her's looked slightly taller. I was so far amused at the competition till the time she asked me, "Which classes - she go?"

Arunav watched the India-New Zealand match and told everyone, "We won in the last ball." He understood that much but soon was too tired (the heat of the grounds) and slept through the other matches. During the match he was more interested in the ravings and dances of the crowd rather than the match itself - very often we had to tell him," Arunav, the match is happening here..." For us it was great fun to meet Lara, Kumble and take their autographs - in India we dont stand a chance to go anywhere near them! Hong Kong Cricket Sixes
Cebu Trip
During the mid-autumn break(school mid term break, for those not in the mommy world), we went to Cebu. The water was crystal-clear - literally - and all of us had a fantastic time. Arunav fed fishes, Aarushi got a slight temperature after 90 minutes of sea bathing with the sun also shining down on her (she is only 8 months after all!!) - and we look completely sun tanned (I like this euphemism).
Mactan Shangrila was wonderful for families(with kids) - great facilities both indoor and outdoors. Here are some photos.
"Immediately"
That is the word which is Arunav's recent craze. He uses the word at every opportunity he gets. "When I hold the magnet over the box, it sticks immediately."
