This is another of the endless bus rides and the thrill he gets out of it is evident.
I posted this photo for another reason though. The dress he is wearing is not his patent Thomas/Pooh dress - that's because he kindly agreed to wear this "on top of the Thomas dress" - so I had to put on full sleeve for him to hide the one inside - he is quite happy wearing 2 dresses in the peak of summer in HK when temperatures are hitting well above 35. Dont underestimate the determination of a 2 year old!
Double Decker Bus rides
When your child is in the "terrible 2s" absolutely anything can catch his fascination and you have to cater to his whims. Arunav's recent craze is riding on double decker bus - he knows all the varieties of colour that they come in HK - orange, brown, purple, red, yellow(most common), white, mixed colour(one's whose colours he cannot finish telling in one breath). Last week I was so tired of his demand "I want to ride in double decker bus" (non-stop chanting from the time he got out of school) - that I told my helper to take him on the rides as much as he wants till he is tired of the rides. As usual, I had to give up - they went out at 2.00pm and had not returned till 6.00pm - when I called up my helper - they were in Repulse Bay at another end of HK - he had taken 20 bus rides all of different colour and wanted more!!
Purple pant and a hand at house cleaning
The reason for my long absence is a notorious Sony Ericsson mobile software which caused our laptop to crash and is now in junk status :(
This is the famous purple pant which Arunav refuses to change. He has probably 50 dresses but there are only 2 which he will wear - the purple pant or the red pant(will post another photo with that) and among shirts - Thomas shirt or Pooh shirt. This is a rare occassion where he agreed to wear a green shirt on top. He is so adamant on this front that a day when Shyam forced him to open his purple pant and Thomas dress (because we had to go to a bday party) - he refused to wear anything (except an underwear) for 3 days!!
