Beautiful dawn again
Today the thunder lightnings crack through the dark sky,
Yet the dawn is still, the people sleep,
The roads sleep. An urban dawn.
The sky is beautiful,
The feeling of quiet and peace is beautiful.
The germination of a new day is beautiful.
The birds are awake, their twitter eager and excited,
Not calm and peaceful like mine,
They have not been touched by age.
They wake up and bustle with life
While I wait for life to wake up and touch my age.
