The wish
The wish to be popular, the wish to be known, the wish to be praised, the wish to the throne,
Is a costly wish, the price I refuse to pay.
I love the little corner where no one knows I stay.
No one knows how great I am, no one knows how low I am.
No one bestows greatness on me, no one takes the crown away.
The very human soul peacefully lives the day.
