Life
Arunav picked up the bulb from roadside when we were walking back from Inspiration Lake on 18 Feb or so.... almost 2 months back. It was just a small bulb which we were ready to throw in the dustbin, but kept it because Arunav wanted to. We left it in a corner of the window sill, where it remained behind a curtain for the longest time.... Couple of weeks back while cleaning, I saw it sprouting something green and was surprised. And now, there's a flower sprouting up.
With no water, zero care, a dirty looking bulb nurturing life and sprouting. How precious is life! How amazing is life! What tenacity, what resilience lies in life...
I pat my back for catering to Arunav's wish and not sending it to the dustbin. I would have missed this wonder.
